The University Pathway Program is designed for applicants with an IELTS score of 5.0 or above. It allows students to enrol in additional academic and English language classes and credit-bearing SF State general education courses.
First-year students can expand their knowledge of current subjects and explore new ones through various credit-bearing courses. After completing the International Year One, students enter their second year of degree studies at SF State.
Additionally, we provide a Pre-session English program for students with an IELTS score between 4.0 and 4.5. This program seeks to improve students’ understanding and use of the English language while also developing the intellectual skills required for studies at the university level.
