Eilya  Care Foundation

What is Eilya Care Foundation?

Eilya Care Home is a registered non-profit, non-political and non-religious organization. Focusing on providing education, medical rehabilitation and employment opportunities to individuals with special needs.

Eliya is working as an NGO since 2015, when the head of Eliya Mrs. Nadia was turned away by some private school due to the fear of loss of income. This turned as a blessing in a disguise because this is how Eliya was born.  Initially conceived to accommodate around 25 students, Eilya soon had to expand and through sheer determination, perseverance and the goodwill of supporters, today has around 75 students under its care and continues to grow day by day.

Uplifting differently able people

Children with special needs face multiple rejections throughout their lives. Many go through mental and physical stress because of the things that are not in their own control. They are less likely to be accepted as a normal person in public sphere hence this factor contributing into less or no jobs for them, they are left with only one option and that is to be dependent on others.

The only true disability is the inability to accept and respect difference.

Eilya’s Motive

(INCLUSION) the main motive and goal of Eilya foundation is INCLUSION. Inclusion in simple words mean equal rights and opportunities for all. Remember always; children with special needs are not disable, in fact they are differently-able. Following this theme, it is not wrong to say that they can do things that a normal person with all the 5 senses can’t do.  A well know example for this is Stephen Wiltshire, he was able to draw New York cityscape from his memory after the 20-minute helicopter ride.

Edify and Eilya

Edify and Eilya is working hand in hand for the betterment of society. MR Azeem Qasim, the CEO of Edify Group of Companies is a part of Eilya foundation. He has been working with them for over a year now. He is a working as a Vice President of Eilya foundation.

Edify Group of Companies introduced the internship programs to create awareness among different schools, people and giving a chance to them; to spend time and doing something fruitful for specially-able people. The volunteers for internship programs are given a certificate, appreciation, training from mentors, ultimately giving them a handful experience. with this they can improve their skills; for example, profile building, enhancing their team work skills. With this initiative we also do fundraising, awareness campaigns and reshaping living circumstance’s for specially-able people.
