Students frequently opt for PTE over IELTS because they consider PTE’s reading component to be simpler than IELTS’. While making this decision, students may think it makes sense, but they don’t truly comprehend what they will have to deal with on the test’s reading part. Format of the PTE Reading Section

The Reading section of the PTE Academic has five types of questions:

Tips for Preparing for the PTE Reading Section

● It’s imperative to practice time management because the PTE Academic is a timed exam. To get a hang on time management, try to finish each question within the allocated time.

● Make sure you thoroughly read each question’s instructions. You will be given instructions on how many alternatives to select, blanks to fill out, etc. You can prevent careless errors by paying attention to instructions.

● Use context clues: When filling in the blanks, use context clues to help you choose the correct word or phrase. Look at the words and phrases around the blank to get an idea of what word would fit best.
