The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has rolled out a fully online, paperless Degree Attestation System (DAS) designed to simplify the process of academic verification for students and graduates across the country.
The platform allows applicants to complete the entire attestation procedure online, eliminating the need for repeated visits to physical HEC offices.
This initiative is part of HEC’s broader digital transformation strategy to improve accessibility, reduce processing delays, and enhance the transparency of educational services nationwide.
Applicants can now manage the entire verification and attestation process from their computers or mobile devices at any time.
Under the new framework:
The online process replaces parts of the previous manual system that required applicants to deliver documents in person or via courier, which was often time‑consuming and costly.
Upon successful verification by HEC and the relevant university, the attestation is issued electronically and can be downloaded directly from the applicant’s account.
