GCU Lahore Announces Fresh Fall 2026 Admissions With Major Scholarship Relief

Government College University (GCU) Lahore has announced another admission opportunity for students planning to begin their undergraduate studies in Fall 2026. 

Under its Phase III admission round, the university is accepting applications for a range of BS, diploma, and certificate programs, with scholarships of up to 60% available in selected degree programs.

The new admission phase covers programs offered at both the GCU Lahore Main Campus and the Kala Shah Kaku Campus. Students interested in applying must complete their applications before the October 2, 2026 deadline.

Several BS Programs Available for Fall 2026

At the Main Campus, GCU Lahore is offering admission in different science-related undergraduate programs, including Biology, Botany, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Physics, and Zoology.

Most of these degrees are available in the morning session, while BS Physics is also being offered in the evening.

Meanwhile, students applying to the Kala Shah Kaku Campus can choose from programs such as Visual Arts, Film and Digital Arts, Disaster Management, Geography, Mathematics, and Remote Sensing and GIS.

Selected Programs Come With 60% Scholarships

A key attraction of the latest admission round is the availability of 60% scholarships for selected BS programs.

At the Lahore Main Campus, scholarship-supported programs include Library and Information Science, Persian, Punjabi, Philosophy, Translation Studies, Turkish Language and Literature, and Urdu.

At the Kala Shah Kaku Campus, students may also benefit from scholarship opportunities in areas such as Agriculture, Archive Studies, Art History, Global Studies, History, Islamic Studies, and Physical Education.

The scholarship option could provide significant financial support to students who want to continue higher education while managing tuition costs.

Forensic Science Courses Also Open

Apart from undergraduate degrees, GCU Lahore is offering evening programs in Forensic Science. Students can apply for either a six-month certificate program or a one-year diploma.

For most BS programs, admission will be based on Intermediate Part-I or equivalent academic results, meaning applicants may not need to sit for a separate entry test.

However, students applying for BFA programs will have to appear in an entrance test. Candidates applying for Physical Education must also take a Physical Efficiency Test scheduled for October 4, 2026.

How Students Can Apply

Applications can be submitted through the university’s official online admission system. The application processing fee is Rs. 1,000 for BS and diploma programs, while certificate applicants will pay Rs. 500.
