Punjab Boards Extend Inter Exam 2026 Admission Schedule

Punjab education boards have extended the admission schedule for Intermediate exams 2026, giving students across the province extra time to complete their registration. 

The decision was made after requests from students and colleges who were facing difficulties in meeting earlier deadlines. With this extension, many candidates now have another chance to submit their admission forms without stress.

Officials confirmed that only the admission deadlines have changed, while the examination schedule remains the same. Intermediate Part II annual exams will begin on May 20, 2026, as planned. 

The extension aims to ensure that no student misses the opportunity to appear in exams due to documentation or fee submission delays.

Single Fee Deadline Extended

The last date to submit admission forms with a single fee has been extended to February 19, 2026. Earlier, the deadline was February 11. 

This extension is helpful for both regular and private students who needed extra time to arrange documents, complete paperwork, or manage fee payments.

Many students, especially from smaller towns, often face delays in bank processing or collecting required certificates. The revised deadline gives them a fair opportunity to complete their admission process smoothly.

Double Fee Submission Dates

Students who miss the single fee deadline can still apply with a double fee. According to the revised schedule, admission forms with double fee can be submitted from February 20 to March 2, 2026. 

The extended window provides late applicants additional time, but officials advise students to submit early to avoid higher costs and last minute issues.

Triple Fee Option

The boards have also extended the triple fee submission period. Students can now submit their admission forms from March 3 to March 12, 2026. While this option provides flexibility, experts recommend avoiding it if possible due to higher costs and possible processing complications.

Exam Date Unchanged

Despite the extended admission schedule, the exam date remains unchanged. Intermediate Part II annual exams will start from May 20, 2026, across Punjab. Students are advised to continue their preparation seriously and not rely on the extended admission timeline.

Schools and colleges are continuing academic activities as usual, focusing on completing the syllabus and starting revision sessions to prepare students for board exams.

Expected Result Timeline

Officials have also shared tentative result dates. The 11th class result is expected around September 23, 2026, while the 12th class result may be announced on October 22, 2026. 

These dates are important for students planning university admissions or scholarships, though final announcements may vary.
