Scholarship Structure

According to the official announcement, the university will award a limited number of Honours Scholarships across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 

For bachelor’s degree students, eight scholarships will be granted, each worth €10,000 annually and renewable for up to three years. 

Meanwhile, master’s degree applicants will have access to 20 scholarships, also valued at €10,000 per year, which can be renewed for up to two years, depending on the program's duration. 

The university offers a range of programs taught in both English and Italian, allowing international students to choose courses that match their language proficiency and academic goals. 

This flexibility makes the scholarship particularly appealing to Pakistani students, many of whom pursue English-taught degrees in Europe. 

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The scholarship is highly competitive and is designed for academically outstanding students. Applicants are evaluated using a comprehensive ranking system that considers multiple factors beyond grades alone. 

One of the primary requirements is a strong academic record, with candidates expected to have a minimum CGPA equivalent to 85 per cent at the time of application. 

In addition to academic performance, applicants must submit a motivational video prepared in accordance with the university’s official guidelines. 

This video allows candidates to present their ambitions, academic interests, and reasons for choosing Ca’ Foscari University, giving evaluators a more holistic view of each applicant. 

Reference letters are also an important component of the selection process. Bachelor’s applicants may submit one recommendation letter, while master’s candidates are required to provide at least one and may include up to two. 

These letters help assess the student’s academic potential, character, and suitability for the chosen program. 

Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate language proficiency in the language of instruction for their selected course.

Application Deadline and Admission Rounds

Students interested in applying must complete their scholarship application by 1:00 pm Central European Summer Time on 31 March 2026. 

The deadline applies to candidates who receive admission offers in either of the two designated admission rounds. 

The first admission round took place between 17 December 2025 and 14 January 2026, while the second round ran from 4 February 2026 to 4 March 2026. 

Only students admitted within these timeframes are eligible to submit scholarship applications.

The application process is conducted online through the university’s official portals. Students must first register and apply for their chosen academic program via the university’s admission platform. 

After securing admission, applicants can access the scholarship portal using their virtual Italian tax code to submit the required documents. 

Among the mandatory documents is a scanned colour copy of a valid passport or EU identity card, along with other required materials specified by the university.
